七年了
刚在剑里看到国内的现在（20号）是邓小平逝世七周年的日子。时间过得太快了。
还记得1997年的那个时候，我刚来美国半年。那一天我乘学校的车去西雅图参加西北五州的大学乒乓球赛。半路停车休息的时候，发现加油站所有的售报机里面，所有的报纸的头版，都是邓小平的照片！马上买了一份。。。
写到这里，突然想起那天我买的报纸应该还被我保留着，和我收藏的一堆国家地理杂志在一起，而这些东西就在我的实验室里放着！果然，起身去找，花了10秒钟，就找出来了。这是1997年2月20日的 USA Today，发黄的报纸上邓小平的头像十分醒目，标题是 Chinese leader Deng dies。
时间过得太快了。
Posted by Bozeman at February 19, 2004 10:06 PM我是在火车上听见这个消息的，但是我记得是2月19日。印象很深刻。记得在这个之前的前半年播放了他的纪录片，好象是为此做铺垫是的。邓是一个伟人。

But compared Deng with Mao today, the later one left the worst situation to all Chinese. Well, when China becomes more prosperous and richer than most of people image after Deng's death, I really find out that Deng is a great people in China, even in the world, as the title of paper said that 20th century emperor had molded modern China, the highest honor to Deng.
